On April 11 and 12, the time has come once again: on the second weekend of April, the Fossil Show “Fossilien Boerse” 2026 will open its doors. For the 10th time, the event will bring together collectors, dealers, researchers, and fossil enthusiasts at the Kubino in Ostfildern‑Nellingen. This year, too, we are pleased to present a well‑booked fair filled with diverse exhibits, remarkable discoveries, and lively exchanges within the paleontological community.
Complementing the event, the 2026 Fair Magazine offers a multifaceted look into the world of paleontology.

The issue combines an aesthetic retrospective on ten years of the Fossil Fair with a geologically rich report on the Bungenäs quarry on Gotland. It also includes a cultural‑historical essay on the tradition of fossil collecting, as well as an international contribution on Norwegian amateur paleontology and its close collaboration with the Natural History Museum in Oslo. The edition is rounded off with an announcement of an upcoming shark lecture at the SMNS Stuttgart and a variety of impressions from the collector and research community an inspiring, compact magazine for everyone who not only collects fossils but seeks to understand and experience them.
Next year’s Fossil Show date will be the 20–21 March 2027.
